Altar Linens
Pick up, launder and return linens after weekend liturgies. Gail Nocella is the point of contact.
Art & Environment
The design and creation of decorations, flowers, and banners to enhance and focus community worship. Maintenance of live plants within the building. Joni Dillabough is the point of contact.
AV Livestream Ministry
This ministry was created during the pandemic when the community was in lockdown. Fr Romy saw a need to bring the Mass to parishioners who needed spiritual fulfillment at a difficult time. From its simple origin when we were broadcasting through a smartphone, to a multi-camera system with graphical content and audio mixing, the livestream has become a vital tool in bringing our worship and community of faith to those who are otherwise unable to participate in person; from Mass to other liturgical events, sacraments, formation and social activities. Our goal: to acquire and install the necessary hardware and software; to develop the livestream so it evolves to offer the most positive experience for the viewer, to train a team to facilitate the production. Children’s Liturgy of the Word – CLOW
CLOW is designed to bring the weekly Gospel message to young children. CLOW is offered during mass and no registration is required. All 4-5 year old children and those in kindergarten are invited to attend. Father will invite the children to go to CLOW after Opening Prayer, and they will return following the Prayers of the Faithful. Millie Velez or Bobbi Yeager are the point of contact.
Cross Bearer
Open to parishioners with the necessary strength and coordination to proceed with the cross at liturgical celebrations. Joe Gargiulo is the point of contact.
Eucharistic Ministers
Distribution of Eucharist during Liturgy. May include the opportunity to deliver Eucharist to the hospitalized/homebound. Written guidelines and training provided. Rotation approximately every four weeks. Bill Padgett is the point of contact.
Funerals
Provide assistance at Funeral Liturgies, to include: Mass Coordination, Head Minister, Eucharistic Minister and Lector, as requested. Training provided. Mary Jo Packert is the point of contact.
Lectors
Proclaim the Word of God by reading Scriptures during Liturgy. Training provided. Keith Koon is the point of contact.
Mass Coordinator
Responsible for preparing the liturgical books, vessels, linens, bread and wine, overseeing minister sign-in, as well as cleaning the vessels after Mass. Kelly Bruno is the point of contact.
Music Ministry
As part of our Music Ministry to Prince of Peace, we welcome all who wish to participate in . As such, some of the musical development includes the growth of the following: the Children’s Choir, the Adult Choir, the Church Orchestra, Flute Choir, String Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet/Quintet, and the Cantor Ministry.
Ushers/Hospitality
Greet the community arriving for Mass, assist people in finding seats, maintain orderly movement during liturgy, select gift servers, pass the gift baskets among the congregation, direct parishioners in receiving Communion, and provide handouts after Liturgy. Joe Gargiulo is the point of contact.
Weddings
Provide assistance at Wedding Liturgies. Karen McDonald or Dorothy Hill is the point of contact.
